AshLey Jensen-Pray



Shredfest 4 is dedicated to Ashley Jensen-Pray. She is a senior attending high school with one of our board members and is undergoing treatment at Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA.  She enjoys music and is in the school choir and is looking forward to returning to school full time very soon! 

ANDREAS KNICKMAN

 

Above is Andreas Kinickman.  Andreas is a sophmore in high school and recently completed treatment for bone cancer this summer. We are so happy that his recent scan was clear! Updates to his journal can be found at:  http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/andreasknickman

Andrea's good friend, Andrew Ceco (pictured on left next to Andreas below)came to us last year to try to do more to help his friend Andreas.  Now both Andrew and Andreas are helping out in many ways such as updating the website...yes this! right here! and getting donations, helping to get advertisements, and spreading the word!

ALEX BERSON

Above is Alex Berson (pictured 3 years ago) who was the inspiration for Shred Kids' Cancer with Les Claypool. Alex was diagnosed a little over three years ago with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. 

Now at 16 years old , Alex is doing great today thanks to a lot of hard work from the doctors at Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA.  In fact he is serving as Co-Vice Chair on our Board of Directors!
